About Us

Charlotte has always been an animal lover at heart, but when it comes to dogs, they’re her true passion! She started out simply walking dogs while also working as a swim instructor, but quickly saw the need for a more personal, home-style dog sitting service that went beyond what kennels could offer. That’s how Tails Trails was born - a friendly, reliable, and adventure-filled home-away-from-home boarding service designed with love.

From daycare adventures, to walks, and boarding, Tails Trails grew, yet Charlotte felt something was missing from her teaching background. So, she dedicated countless hours to studying, becoming a fully accredited dog trainer with the Institute of Modern Dog Training and The Dog Trainer School. Today, she enjoys the perfect balance between adventurous outings and training the wonderful dogs of Saffron Walden!

When Charlotte gets a rare chance to unwind with just her own dogs, she loves exploring agility, dog swimming, or working her cocker spaniel in the fields. She can’t wait to meet you and your four-legged friend!
