About Us

Charlotte has always been an animal lover at heart, but when it comes to dogs, they’re her true passion! She started out simply walking dogs while also working as a swim instructor, but quickly saw the need for a more personal, home-style dog sitting service that went beyond what kennels could offer. That’s how Tails Trails was born - a friendly, reliable, and adventure-filled home-away-from-home boarding service designed with love.

From daycare adventures, to walks, and boarding, Tails Trails grew, yet Charlotte felt something was missing from her teaching background. So, she dedicated countless hours to studying, becoming a fully accredited dog trainer with the Institute of Modern Dog Training and The Dog Trainer School. However, she didn't stop there! She continued her studies and became a KAD (Kids Around Dogs) professional specialising in working with families and schools to help children and dogs live in harmony together. Today, she enjoys the perfect balance between adventurous outings and training the wonderful dogs around the Saffron Walden area!

When Charlotte gets a rare chance to unwind with just her own dogs, she loves exploring agility, taking the dogs swimming, or working with her cocker spaniel in the fields. She can’t wait to meet you and your four-legged friend!
